TRAIN ME

Three different formats are offered. They can be chosen by anyone over the age of 15, without any particular prerequisites. The formats are not adapted to visually or hearing impaired people (for the time being).

We will:

  • provide further answers and explanations
  • advise and help you to assess a risk situation
  • refer you to a partner service
  • offer you a screening test

If you want to become a multiplier or to set up a prevention project in your institution, the HIV Berodung service can

  • help you adapt your project to your professional environment
  • provide bespoke, face-to-face training on the topics you want to learn more about
  • lend you prevention materials if necessary
  • organize a practical training course on how to use prevention materials

OBJECTIVES :

At the end of the session, learners will:

  • Know the different stakeholders and services, including the HIV Berodung of the Luxembourg Red Cross
  • Understand the terminology relating to the different infections and HIV
  • Know the modes of transmission
  • Know the prevention tools and their importance
  • Know the therapies and the different treatments
  • Understand the prejudices faced by people who are HIV-positive
  • Have basic knowledge of hepatitis, in particular hepatitis C and the different STIs

CERTIFICATION TRAINING

Complete training course in 5-hour theoretical and 7 interactive modules. Participants must register for and pass knowledge tests (MCQs) after each module and at the end of the course.

MODULAR TRAINING

Participants are free to choose the topics and are not required to follow the order of the modules. No login is required and there is no certificate.

TEST MY KNOWLEDGE

Participants can test their knowledge in a fun way and without constraints.
