The Luxembourg Red Cross attaches the utmost importance to the protection of personal data and to respect for privacy. This is why we wish to provide you with transparent information on how your data are collected through our website, how we process them and the rights you have.

1. DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSES

As a general rule, this website can be accessed and browsed without disclosing any personal information or data. If, however, you should opt for certain cookies when you register for certification training, or when you contact us via our contact form, personal data are collected in order to manage your registration for training, to communicate with you if necessary, respond to your request or improve your browsing and our services. The data collected are:
  • identification data such as forenames and surnames,
  • contact details such as e-mail addresses,
  • data relating to your request,
  • cookies.

These data processing operations are carried out on the basis of your consent or of the legitimate interest pursued by the Luxembourg Red Cross.

2. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

Data are kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and for the maximum period stipulated by law.

3. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

Your data are treated confidentially and are shared with third parties only as and where necessary and when permitted by law. Such third parties may include our IT subcontractors who are moreover subject to the same legal obligations regarding the protection of personal data. Such access to your personal data is strictly limited to the minimum necessary to provide the services.

4. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

In accordance with the law, you have the following rights:
  • The right to information. We hope that this notice has answered your questions.
  • The right to access your data free of charge.
  • The right to rectify your data if they are incorrect or out of date.
  • The right to withdraw your consent at any time.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données (CNPD) --- You can't use shortcodes inside element --- if you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the law.
In certain cases and under the conditions laid down by law, you also have the following rights:
  • The right to request the erasure of your data.
  • The right to request the restriction of the processing of your data.
  • The right to object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds.
  • To that end, you can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time by using the unsubscribe link in each newsletter.
  • The right to portability of the data you have provided to us (i.e. the right to receive your personal data on a machine-readable medium), insofar as technically feasible.
